Anthony Quintiliani holds both Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Psychology.
Dr. Quintiliani has worked in the fields of education, higher education, and clinical co-occurring disorders since 1970. His experience includes prevention and intervention work in schools, clinical services (treatment, training and supervision) in clinics, outcomes research, and extensive graduate
level teaching/supervision in higher education (Ohio State University, The University of Vermont, Southern New Hampshire University, Antioch New England, and St. Michaels College). He holds Graduate Adjunct Faculty Status at The University of Vermont (Graduate Counseling) and Southern New Hampshire University (Clinical Mental Health).
Dr. Quintiliani has presented over 500 professional workshops during his career, and has written numerous articles and manuals on various clinical topics. He has served as the Chief Psychologist for The Howard Center (MHSAS) and the Chief Trainer for the Vermont Addictions Academy on Co-Occurring Disorders. He also provided clinical training and consultation as part of the Vt. Department of Health's Co-Occurring Training Initiative (DMH and ADAP) and the New England Institute of Addictions Studies.
He is also a clinical trainer for the Vermont Addictions Professionals Association. He is now semi-retired and heads the Eleanor R. Liebman Center for the Study and Practice of Secular Meditation in Monkton, VT. He recently published Mindful Happiness (2014), a brief clinical text on applications of mindfulness and evidence-based psychotherapy in clinical practice.
